Privacy Policy

LuxeHome ("we", "us", "our") operates the LuxeHome Customer app and the LuxeHome Technician app, together with a supporting admin panel and backend service (collectively, the "Platform"). This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to this policy.

1. Who this policy covers

• Customers — people who browse, buy, or rent furniture, or request refurbishment through the LuxeHome Customer app.
• Technicians — LuxeHome field staff who use the LuxeHome Technician app to carry out assigned refurbishment jobs.

2. Information we collect

Payments: The current version of the Platform supports Cash on Delivery only. We do not collect or store card, UPI, or bank details in the app.

3. How we use your information

• Provide the core features: catalog, buy, rent, and refurbishment.
• Detect your nearest branch and show accurate local stock.
• Assign, schedule, and complete refurbishment jobs.
• Send you status updates and important service notifications.
• Keep the Platform secure and prevent misuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. Third-party services we share data with

We share the minimum data needed with trusted providers who process it on our behalf:

• Google Cloud Platform — hosting of our backend, database, and uploaded files.
• Google Gemini AI — when you use the AI Interior Designer, the room photo you upload is sent to Google's Gemini API to generate product suggestions.
• Google Maps Platform — to locate stores, verify addresses, and provide navigation.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) — to deliver push notifications.

These providers are bound by their own privacy and security terms.

5. How we protect your data

• Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and never stored in plain text.
• Access is protected with short-lived access tokens and refresh tokens (JWT).
• In admin views, customer phone numbers are partially masked (e.g. +91 ****3210).
• Access to your data is restricted by role and, for branch staff, by assigned location.

6. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Platform and meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time (see the Delete Your Data page).

7. Your rights

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct information that is inaccurate.
• Request deletion of your account and personal data.
• Withdraw permissions (e.g. location) through your device settings.

8. Children

The Platform is intended for users aged 18 and above and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
